Before venturing Down Under to pursue my dream of traveling and studying south of the equator, I went on all sorts of journalistic adventures around the San Francisco Bay Area: restaurant reviewing in the Haight, a spa in the Napa Valley wine country, and cheesecake tasting in North Beach, to name a few highlights.
Going abroad is the chance of a lifetime, so I also spent last semester getting to know several other students headed across borders, oceans and language barriers to pursue the same dream.
